SOLDIER...

Soldier, 
Strong he stands
With vallour and discipline. 
Courage he holds, 
When he speak in chaos. 
Loyalty he owns, 
When it comes to love his nation. 
Distinction he posseses, 
That makes him stand out. 
He's never off duty, 
When you see him in the borders. 
Soldier's life is  uncertain, 
But a dream prince of every maiden. 
Proud son of every parent. 
Always ready to sacrifice, 
Hard as Himalayan ice, 
Soft as cotton slice. 
He waits for command,
Indian soldier is the only brand. 
We fear the natural weather, 
Who stays strongly in Siachen Glacier.
Now then and forever, 
His always alive, 
Proud mother of this nation. 
His blood turns his meadows red, 
The nation cries when everyone sees him in his death bed. 
Salute to the person strong, 
Who's absence makes things wrong.

আমি অনন্ত পথে হেঁটেছি  মূল্য দিতে হয়েছে রক্তের  আমি দূর্বার জয়ের নেশায় আসক্ত আমি স্বপ্ন দেখি অদম্য সাহসের । আমি নিদ্রাহীন চোখে আকাঙ্খা করি সুদিনের। আমি অসম থেকে অসীম আমি আঘাত থেকে অজেয়  আমি স্পর্ধা  আমি শ্রান্তি  আমি পরিব্রাজক  আমি ক্লান্তি। আমি সিক্ত হয়েছি ঝোড়ো বৃষ্টিতে আমার দহন হয়েছে তপ্ত বালুরাশি তে আমি সেই জেদ যা দমেনি  যা হার মানেনি  চূড়ান্ত পরাজয়ে । আমি আগুন  আমি ছাই আমি এই ধরায় সংঘর্ষ করতে  বারবার ফিরে আসি । দানবের রক্তচক্ষু কে ডরাই না আমি আমি ভরসা রাখি প্রচন্ড বিপ্লবে। আমি ঘোর  আমি প্রেম আমি প্রারম্ভ আমি ই পরিশেষ। আমি স্বপ্ন আমি তেজ  আমি শক্তি আমি জেদ। আমি ভগ্ন পাষাণের উপর  খোদাই করা শেষ জীবাশ্ম এর রেশ। Penned by- Sirsha

Doomed

The Summer sun doesn't shine,  in my life for a long time.  Monsoons surely bring rain,  to celebrate my pain.  I'm in my late Autumn,  gradually becoming numb.  And waiting for Winter to arrive,  I don't know how long can I survive.  As spring has turned away her eyes,  I've landed in Inferno, banished from Paradise.  My flowers will no longer bloom,  I know I've approached my coldest doom. ~ Manisha Roy
